I can’t decide which workout shall I do

Tap the Plus button, select ‘Browse Workouts’ and pick one or more tags (say, pick ‘Strength’). You’ll get a list of all workouts that have the selected tag(s) and hopefully one of them will make you sweat.

Why is this or that feature missing?

There are tons of features that would be great to have. Speech synthesis for exercise names, voice commands, results comparison…. the list goes on. We’ll try to put all those in – please tell us what do you miss most.

How do I create an account?

Go to ‘Settings’ (icon in the bottom right corner) and enter your Nickname (it can be your real name if you like, but note that it will be publicly visible) and your Email. We will then send you a verification email. We promise to treat your email as confidential and won’t send you any spam.

How do I create a workout?

On the first screen tap the ‘Plus’ button in the top right corner to either create or download a WOD. You can start creating workouts from scratch (tap the Plus button on the Workout Screen) or you can base your workout on an existing workout just make the necessary changes – that might be less work (on the Overview Screen click the More Button (…) and tap “Edit a Copy”).

Are there any workouts pre-defined so I simply download them into my device?

What does it mean ‘Download by Key‘?

Every published workout is assigned a Workout Key. A friend might share a workout with you by sending you this key… or you might publish a workout and send it’s key to your friends 🙂

How do I change the image of the workout?

Tap on the image and choose from the available images.

What are workout ‘tags’?

Each workout is tagged (CrossFit, running, rowing etc). When you are looking for workouts you can simply search by tags.

How do I use ‘timer’ function?

Tap the ‘Add exercise, Repeat or Rest’ button in the bottom left corner and select time (count-down timer). Choose ‘timer’ and set the exercise duration. Let us have a look at this workout called “Core”. You can download it from CrossFit/Core/Bodyweight tagged workouts. Tap the ‘More Button’(…) in the top right corner and choose ‘Edit’ so you can see how was this workout created in Crosstimer

    1. Repeat for 3 Rds (tap the ‘Add Exercise, Repeat or Rest) and choose repeat for 3 Rds
    2. Let us do the same things as described above only choose ‘Chrono’ for sit ups and supermen
    3. Finally, choose ‘Timer’ and set it up for 1 min plank
    4. Close the repeat (button at the bottom of the screen)

How do I edit the workout I created?

Open the workout you created. Tap the ‘More Button’ in the upper right corner and choose either ‘Edit’ or ‘Edit copy’ (which will allow to you to edit only cope and keep your original workout unchanged). After you make all your desired changed you can publish your updates or choose to keep it only in your device (publishing is highly recommended as it backups your workouts as well as enables you to share your workouts with others).

How do I publish my workouts?

Tap the ‘More Button’ in the upper right corner and choose ‘Publish’. Then choose whether you want to make your workout visible for all (by tapping on/off button). The workout key, which you can share with your friends so they do not need to create this workout but simply download it, will be assigned to your workout after you publish it.

Why have not you answered my email?

Have you been more than 3 days without an answer? Then, we probably did not get your email – please re-send your query via our Contact Form as sometimes emails can get eaten by the spam filter.

Can I change the countdown duration?

Yes, you can. Go into settings (button in the bottom-right corner) and choose the countdown duration (from 0 to 59s).

Where can I see my previous results?

You can view results by workout or by month. To see all results recorded for a particular workout, open that workout and tap ‘View Results’. To see all results sorted by date, tap History on the main screen.

What if I do not want to my workouts to be publicly visible?

When publishing a workout make sure you choose Off for Workout Visibility. If you make a mistake, un-publish the workout and re-publish it with the desired visibility.
